Overview
Friends Season 3 continues the story of the six friends. The season explores the aftermath of Ross and Rachel's breakup. The "we were on a break" argument becomes a central theme. The season also features Monica and Richard's breakup, when Monica realizes that Richard does not want to have children. The season introduces new characters, including Ben Stiller as Tommy, a rage-filled man who dates Rachel; and Jon Favreau as Pete, a wealthy, eccentric billionaire who dates Monica. The season features many memorable episodes, including "The One with the Morning After," where Ross and Rachel have a huge fight about their breakup; and "The One at the Beach," where Phoebe meets her birth mother. The season ends with Ross and Rachel still broken up, and Ross dating a woman named Bonnie.
