Overview

Castle Season 1 is the first season of ABC's crime procedural comedy-drama. The first season follows Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion), a famous, charming, and cocky mystery novelist who is shadowing NYPD Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) to research his next book. He is a "civilian consultant." The first season establishes the characters and their "will-they-won't-they" dynamic. The season ends with Castle and Beckett solving the murder of a wealthy socialite.
