Overview

Moon Knight Season 1 is the first season of Disney+'s superhero series, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series follows Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac), a mercenary who is granted powers by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Marc suffers from dissociative identity disorder, and he shares his body with two other identities: Steven Grant, a mild-mannered museum gift shop employee, and Jake Lockley, a violent cab driver. The series is a psychological thriller, exploring themes of trauma, identity, and mental illness. The first season ends with Marc and Steven accepting each other and embracing their role as Moon Knight.
