The Boys Season 3
Overview
The Boys Season 3 is the most shocking and violent season yet, introducing a new character: Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), a superhero from the 1940s who was thought to be dead. Soldier Boy is a parody of Captain America — a patriotic, powerful hero who is actually a racist, misogynistic, and abusive monster. The season follows Butcher (Karl Urban) as he seeks out Soldier Boy, believing he has the power to kill Homelander. Meanwhile, Homelander (Antony Starr) becomes more unhinged after discovering that his son Ryan prefers Butcher to him. Hughie (Jack Quaid) takes Compound V to gain powers, straining his relationship with Starlight (Erin Moriarty). The season features a series of shocking moments, including a superhero shrinking and exploding inside a man's penis, a death by laser vision, and a brutal fight between Soldier Boy and Homelander. The season ends with Homelander killing a man in public, and his fans cheering him on, setting up a terrifying new status quo.
