The Seven also includes Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), a cynical, alcoholic hero who is trapped in her role; A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), a speedster who is addicted to Compound V, the drug that gives supes their powers; The Deep (Chace Crawford), a parody of Aquaman who is a sexual predator; Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell), a silent, mysterious ninja; and Starlight (Erin Moriarty), a naive young hero who joins the Seven and quickly discovers the dark truth about the organization. The Boys are led by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), a brutal, vengeance-driven former SAS soldier whose wife was supposedly killed by Homelander. The team includes Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), a young man who joins The Boys after his girlfriend is killed by A-Train; Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso), the team's strategist and moral compass; Frenchie (Tomer Capone), a weapons expert and chemist; and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara), a mute woman with super strength and regeneration abilities. The first season ends with Butcher discovering that his wife is alive and has been living with Homelander, raising their son, Ryan.
