Overview

WandaVision Season 1 is the first season of Disney+'s superhero series, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series follows Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) as they live an idyllic suburban life in the town of Westview, New Jersey. The series is a homage to classic sitcoms, mimicking the styles of shows from the 1950s to the 2000s. Wanda, overwhelmed by grief over Vision's death, has created an alternate reality in Westview, holding the entire town hostage. She is opposed by S.W.O.R.D., a government agency, and by Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), a witch who has been manipulating Wanda. The series ends with Wanda accepting her grief and becoming the Scarlet Witch.
