Unbelievable is a 2019 crime drama miniseries created by Susannah Grant, Michael Chabon, and Ayelet Waldman for Netflix, based on the true story of a teenager who was charged with lying about having been raped, and the two female detectives who followed the path to the truth. The miniseries is a powerful, infuriating, and ultimately hopeful exploration of sexual assault and the justice system. It was a massive critical success, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress for Toni Collette.
