Overview
This Is Us Season 5 continues the story of the Pearson family. The season deals with the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests. The characters are forced to confront their own prejudices and their own mortality. The fifth season also explores the backstory of Randall's birth mother, Laurel (Jennifer C. Holmes). The fifth season is a powerful, timely, and emotional season. The season ends with Kate getting married and Kevin becoming a father.
