The Sandman Season 1

Overview

The Sandman Season 1 is the first season of Netflix's fantasy drama, based on the comic book series of the same name by Neil Gaiman. The first season follows Dream (Tom Sturridge), the lord of dreams, as he escapes from a century of captivity and seeks to restore his kingdom. He must travel across the Dreaming and the waking world to find his lost tools of power: his helm, his pouch of sand, and his ruby. The first season adapts the first two volumes of the comic, Preludes and Nocturnes and The Doll's House. The first season ends with Dream rebuilding his kingdom and confronting his past.
