He leaves Tatooine to rescue her. The series follows Obi-Wan as he is hunted by the Inquisitors, a group of Force-sensitive agents who hunt Jedi, and by Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen). The series is a meditation on guilt, trauma, and the hope that can be found in the darkest times. The series features a climactic duel between Obi-Wan and Vader, where Obi-Wan finally accepts that Anakin is gone. Obi-Wan Kenobi was a critical and commercial success, earning over 10 Emmy nominations. The series was praised for Ewan McGregor's performance and for its emotional exploration of the characters.
