Overview
Frozen is a 2013 computer-animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. The film is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen." The film follows Princess Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) and her sister, Queen Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel), who has the magical ability to create ice and snow. Elsa accidentally plunges the kingdom of Arendelle into an eternal winter, and she flees. Anna sets out on a journey to find her sister and end the winter, accompanied by an iceman named Kristoff (voiced by Jonathan Groff), his reindeer Sven, and a talking snowman named Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad). The film is a celebration of sisterly love, self-acceptance, and the power of love to conquer fear. It features a memorable soundtrack, including the Oscar-winning song "Let It Go," which became a global phenomenon.
