Overview
Game of Thrones Season 8 is the eighth and final season of HBO's epic fantasy series, concluding the story of the battle for the Iron Throne and the war against the White Walkers. The six-episode season begins with the Battle of Winterfell, where the living fight the army of the dead. The Night King is killed by Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), saving humanity. The season then focuses on the final conflict between Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).
