Overview
Peaky Blinders Season 2 continues the story of the Shelby family. The season is set in 1921. Tommy (Cillian Murphy) is expanding the family business into London. He comes into conflict with the Italian gang, the Sabini family, led by the ruthless Darby Sabini (Noah Taylor). The season also introduces a new character, Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy), a Jewish gangster who becomes a rival and an ally to Tommy. Alfie is a charismatic, unpredictable, and terrifying figure. The season also follows Polly Gray (Helen McCrory), who is dealing with the trauma of being tortured by the IRA. The second season ends with Tommy being shot by an assassin, but he survives. Peaky Blinders Season 2 is a stylish, violent, and addictive season, with some of the best performances in the series.
