The Sopranos Season 3
Overview
The Sopranos Season 3 continues the story of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini). The season introduces a new villain, Ralph Cifaretto (Joe Pantoliano), a charismatic, cruel, and sociopathic mobster. Ralph is a rising star in the DiMeo family, but he is also a loose cannon. The season also explores the relationship between Tony and his daughter, Meadow (Jamie-Lynn Sigler), who is now in college. The third season is famous for its surreal, dreamlike sequences, including a sequence where Tony visits the "test dream." The third season ends with Tony killing Ralph, who he believes killed a beloved racehorse.
