The Sopranos Season 2

Overview

The Sopranos Season 2 continues the story of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini). Tony is dealing with the fallout from his mother's death. He is also dealing with a new threat: a rival mobster from New York, Richie Aprile (David Proval), who is released from prison. Richie is a violent, unpredictable psychopath who clashes with Tony. The season also introduces a new character, Janice Soprano (Aida Turturro), Tony's sister, who returns to New Jersey. The second season ends with Tony killing Richie to protect his nephew, Christopher. The Sopranos is a masterpiece of television, with brilliant writing, acting, and direction.
