Overview

Pennyworth Season 1 is the first season of Epix's crime drama, based on the DC Comics character Alfred Pennyworth. The series follows a young Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon) as he forms a security company in 1960s London. The series is set in an alternate history, where a fascist government has taken over Britain. Alfred is a former British SAS soldier who is trying to make a living. He is hired by Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), an American businessman who is visiting London. The first season is a stylish, violent, and witty spy thriller.
