Lift
Overview
Lift is a 2024 action comedy film directed by F. Gary Gray, starring Kevin Hart as Cyrus Whitaker, a master thief who is recruited by the FBI to pull off an impossible heist. The film is set on a passenger plane flying from London to Zurich. Cyrus and his crew are hired by an FBI agent, Abby Gladwell (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), to steal $500 million in gold bullion that is being transported on the plane. The twist is that the plane is in the air, and the heist must take place while the plane is flying. The film is a fun, lighthearted action comedy, with a charismatic performance by Kevin Hart. The film also stars Vincent D'Onofrio as Denton, a former thief; Billy Magnussen as Magnus, a tech expert; and Sam Worthington as the villain.
