Overview
Homeland Season 8 is the eighth and final season of the political thriller. The season is set in Afghanistan and the United States. Carrie has been released from the Russian gulag, but she is suffering from brain damage. She is sent to Afghanistan to help broker a peace deal. The final season is a tense, emotional, and satisfying conclusion to the series. The series finale, "Prisoners of War," is a brilliant, heartbreaking, and hopeful ending. Carrie ends up in Russia, working as an asset for the Russians.
