Overview
Ex Machina is a 2014 science fiction thriller film written and directed by Alex Garland, starring Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, and Oscar Isaac. Ex Machina was a critical and commercial success, earning over $37 million on a $15 million budget. It won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
