Overview
Dark is a 2017 science fiction thriller television series created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese for Netflix, and it is the first German-language original series produced by Netflix. The series is set in the fictional small German town of Winden, a place plagued by the mysterious disappearance of children. The series begins in 2019 with the disappearance of a teenage boy, Jonas Kahnwald's (Louis Hofmann) friend. Jonas is haunted by the recent suicide of his father, and he soon discovers a cave in the woods that leads to a time-travel portal.
